When marketing doesn’t work, it’s so easy for entrepreneurs to turn inward and go, “the problem must be me.”

They think they:

  • Are not smart enough
  • Are not pretty enough
  • Are not good enough
  • Are not avaluable enough
  • Are not capable enough

… That no one wants them or their offer. That the world is broken.

This is especially true now that AI is here and everyone’s dooming about how no one values taste, expertise, or results anymore because ✨AI✨.

Now, you might think the mistake I would say you’re making is connecting your results with your value. And it’s true, but what I don’t want you to do is the bigger mistake:

Trying to shove down this tendancy instead of letting it breathe, letting it process through your nervous system, and then releasing it.

So don’t make the mistake. When marketing results (or lack thereof) trigger your woe-is-me tendancy, please, please, please don’t shut it down.

Instead, let it flow. Ask it why it’s here, what it wants you to learn, and what it really means.

Because chances are, it has nothing to do with your marketing and everythign to do with that memory of when you were three.

Try it and let me know how it goes!
