When it comes to marketing your business, it’s easy to forget that there’s so much more to marketing than just posting on social media or running social media ads.
For example, you could…
- Reach out to your warm network, explain exactly what you do, and ask: “Who should I be talking to?”
- Send a referral letter (in the mail!) to those who might know your ideal client, telling them how you can help their clients in this area
- Send postcards (in the mail!) to your ideal client directly, offering a webinar, free gift, or other special offer
- Host an in-person presentation at your local Chamber of Commerce, with a CTA to take you up on an offer to work with you that’s named and has a value
- Publish a book (with features, inside, links to your irresistible offer stack!) and then get on podcasts and shows talking about your book
- Attend some networking events and meetups, getting to know people who might have the problem you solve
- Keep sending emails to your list (you do have a list, right?) making an offer they can’t refuse
The world is your oyster when you think of marketing as relationship-building and not as “posting on social media.”
I want to know: what are you trying this week that isn’t social media posting or advertising?
